A cervical lift, also known as a neck lift, is a surgical procedure designed to correct age-related changes in the neck area.
This patient presented with:
- skin and deep tissue laxity of the neck,
- loss of the cervico-mental angle (the transition between the chin and neck),
- accumulation of fat between the neck muscles, which blurred the natural contour.
A cervical (neck) lift was performed, addressing not only the skin but also the deeper muscular structures.
The procedure involved:
- tightening of the underlying muscle layers, restoring firmness and support,
- removal of intermuscular fat, improving definition,
- redraping of the skin, for a smooth and natural appearance.
The outcome is a slimmer, firmer, and well-defined neck, creating a youthful and balanced lower facial profile.
