This patient presented with excess skin of the upper eyelids, a common age-related change that can make the eyes appear heavy and tired, and in some cases interfere with the upper visual field.
An upper blepharoplasty was performed, a surgical procedure that involves:
- careful removal of excess skin,
- redefining the natural eyelid crease,
- preserving the patient’s natural expression and eye shape.
The goal of this procedure is to refresh and rejuvenate the gaze, not to alter the identity of the face. The result is a brighter, more open appearance, with fine scars hidden within the natural eyelid fold.
