This patient presented with under-eye bags and a tired appearance of the lower eyelids, caused by protrusion of periorbital fat and reduced support of the lower eyelid structures.
A modern lower blepharoplasty was performed, incorporating:
- Periorbital fat redistribution, repositioning existing fat to smooth the eyelid–cheek junction and avoid excessive tissue removal
- Lateral canthopexy, a supportive technique that strengthens the outer corner of the eye and helps maintain eyelid stability over time
The result is a smoother lower eyelid contour and a brighter, more rested appearance, achieved with a balanced and natural outcome.
