Abdominoplasty with Diastasis Repair and Pubic Lift – Restoring Core Strength and Lower Contour – Case 34

Abdominoplasty with Diastasis Repair and Pubic Lift – Restoring Core Strength and Lower Contour – Case 34

This patient came to us with major abdominal changes that developed after two pregnancies. These included:

  • Excess abdominal skin with multiple stretch marks,
  • Diastasis recti, which is the separation of the abdominal muscles, visible just above the navel,
  • Pubic ptosis, or sagging of the pubic region.

To address these concerns, we performed an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) – a surgical procedure that:

  • Removes the loose, damaged skin,
  • Repairs the diastasis by suturing the separated abdominal muscles, restoring core strength and waist definition,
  • Includes a pubic lift, repositioning the pubic area for a firmer, more youthful appearance.

This procedure is ideal for patients who experience loose skinweakened abdominal muscles, and contour changes in the lower abdomen and pubic area after childbirth or major weight loss.

The outcome is a flatter, tighter abdomen with a smoother silhouette, enhancing both appearance and physical comfort.
